Due to a member of the broadcast team in Adelaide testing positive for covid, none of the team were allowed at the ground on days 4 and 5, therefore ABC Sport provided off-tube commentary from a Perth studio with Wheeldon, Cameron, Johnson, Hughes and Shaw

Jonathan Agnew introduced and closed coverage via voiceover on days 1-4 and Daniel Norcross on day 5. Commentary as 5 Live Sports Extra on days 1-3. On days 4 and 5, commentary was taken from Fox Cricket due to none of the BBC team being allowed at the ground due to a member of the broadcast team testing positive for covid.

On day 5, Norcross and Tufnell provided off-tube commentary from London alternating with the off-tube ABC commentary from Perth.
